Water Dispenser Distributor Agrees to Pay $48 Million in Toddler’s Burn Injury Case
Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock Dodig announced on November 2nd that Nestle Waters North America Inc., the distributor of a water dispenser, agreed to pay $48 million to settle a products liability suit over a toddler’s burn injuries. The agreement was reached on behalf of the burn victim and their family.
“There was obviously a recognition that this is the type of case that would lead to an explosive verdict, and I think was the main settlement driver for the case,” stated Daniel Mann, partner at Feldman Shepherd.
